Job Summary
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Head of Invoice & Structured Finance to join this progressive organisation based in the heart of South Wales. You will effectively manage a portfolio of Invoice Finance clients, focussing on Relationship Management, Client Risk and value creation for both Go Commercial Finance and the Client. The role offers excellent developmental opportunities as you will be required to grow a field and office based team.

Key Accountabilities include
Maximising client retention and satisfaction by managing client relationships in accordance with our defined service proposition appropriate to each client segment.
Working collaboratively with colleagues within Sales and Operations to ensure effective delivery of client service.
Minimising/avoiding bad debts by working in partnership with Risk and Operations.
Identifying opportunities to add value to client relationships both from our whole of market lender bank.
You will be out at client sites 2/3 days per week. Barry, South Wales will be your office base for all other days.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Experience required
Client management experience within Invoice Finance /Asset-based lending.
A positive attitude and pride in your work is essential.
Financial Analysis skills.
Strong communication and problem analysis and decision making skills.
Good team player skills are essential
A desire to grow as a part of a team but having the ability to grow a team with autonomy, a must.

As a market leader in our sector, based in South Wales and London, we have 10 exciting vacancies available. If you are experienced in corporate banking or you have alternative industry experience in a commercial or insurance capacity and you are comfortable in a customer and broker facing/telephony role; including sourcing your own leads.

Key tasks:
- Building good rapport with lenders, customers and brokers alike.
- Assisting customers in finding the best possible commercial finance solutions for their needs.
- Following up with customers pursuant to their website/telephone enquiry.
- Ensuring all referred proposals have relevant procedural checks as highlighted, both system and manual as necessary e.g. Credit Reference Bureau, CIFAS, employment confirmation etc. are utilized ensuring that all information and documentation is accurate.
- Discussing potential lending cases with our in-house consultants and intermediary brokers.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and legislative information related to Consumer Finance products and services (e.g. Money Laundering, Data Protection, etc.).

With its head office based in Barry, South Wales - the company has expanded into a new office and aims to further increase its presence across the UK over the coming months. It also has an office in London.
We are looking for a highly organised, efficient, bright & enthusiastic Administration Assistant working within our Barry office to underpin the excellent work of our consultants.
Essential that you have previous experience of working within a commercial finance or mortgage processing environment. Be able to adapt to, on times, a demanding office environment where customer service & attention to detail are paramount.
Knowledge of Google App packages & the ability to learn in-house systems quickly. In return we offer a great place to work with a team who are dedicated to providing an excellent experience.
Duties
- Assisting in the progress of commercial finance applications through to legal completion and beyond.
- Liaise with our advisors to ensure appraisal on the progress of mortgage cases and assisting in resolving any queries arising.
- Monitoring of client emails, account management of repeat clients.
- Act as a first port of call for queries from clients, lenders and conveyancers.
- General office administration duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying and answering the telephone.
- Assisting with finance administration duties.
- Support with marketing activities as required.
- Updating and maintaining systems and files.
- Working with advisors to assist in ensuring all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
Experience and qualifications
- Proven commercial mortgage processing experience within a financial services environment.
- Excellent communication and customer services skills.
- Excellent computer skills Google App packages and Microsoft Office including excel and word.
- Attention to detail and experience of working with prescribed systems and procedures.
- Self-motivated and professional individual.
This is a part-time position working over 5 days - hours 9am – 3pm. Salary £14k pa
